A Fantastic Evening of Shakespeare: Year 10 at the Theatre

It was a fantastic production, offering a modern interpretation of Shakespeare’s comedy and delivering plenty of humour throughout, which the students clearly enjoyed.

The Mechanicals were a particular highlight of the performance, bringing excellent comic timing and energy to the stage. Their scenes were especially memorable and will provide Drama students with plenty of material to reflect on and analyse in their coursework and class discussions.

Overall, the trip was an engaging and enjoyable experience that helped bring the play to life in a fresh and accessible way. Experiences such as this are invaluable in deepening students’ understanding of set texts while also inspiring a love of live theatre.
