Paper One focusses on Core Content: The 20th Century. This paper includes International Relations since 1919 and a Depth Study of Germany between 1918-45. This includes studying some of the following topics: The Peace Treaties of 1919-1923

  1. The League of Nations
  2. Germany 1918-1945 including The Weimar Republic and Hitler’s Germany
  3. International Collapse of Peace (up to 1939)
  4. Who was to blame for the Cold War?

Paper Two

1hr 45min 30% of grade

In Paper Two, students answer six questions on one prescribed topic taken from the Core Content. There is a range of source material relating to each prescribed topic.

In Paper Three students answer one question on a Depth Study.
