Pastoral Care

During your Sixth Form, our focus on pastoral care remains just as strong as in the earlier school years. Your happiness and wellbeing are vital to your academic success, and to developing the confidence and self-esteem that will help you throughout your life.

The Pastoral Team

The Deputy Head Pastoral & DSL

The Deputy Head Pastoral, who also serves as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, oversees the School’s pastoral care system, ensuring every girl is supported, safe and able to thrive throughout her educational journey.

Head of Learning Support

Helps girls to reach their full potential by providing tailored guidance, specialist support and encouragement, ensuring every pupil can approach learning with confidence.

Head of Year 12 & 13

Supported by their Assistant HOYs, HOYs look after the interests of all girls in their year group and work closely with their teams of form tutors.

Form Tutors

The first point of contact for parents. Parents are most welcome to telephone form tutors during the school day, or it is possible to make an appointment via Reception to come into School.

Pastoral care, supporting success

We’ve made pastoral care an integral part of school life – it goes hand-in-hand with your studies. Every day, you have the support of the Head of Year, the Deputy Head of Sixth Form and your form tutor. They’re here to guide and advise you, and your parents.
