Entry requirements
Whether you’re coming from another school or already at EHS, you’ll need at least six GCSEs at Grades 6-9, including English and Maths, to join our Sixth Form, as well as the individual GCSE grade requirement for each A-Level subject you choose. As well as needing to achieve the above qualifications, you’ll be assessed for a place in our Sixth Form, depending on where you’re currently studying.
If you already study at EHS
To move up from Year 11 to the Sixth Form (and from the Lower Sixth to the Upper Sixth), you’ll need to be making good progress in your studies and showing you’re still keen to learn.
If you’re coming from another school
Before the GCSE results are released, you’ll attend an interview with our Headmistress and Head of Sixth Form, and we’ll ask your current school for a confidential report on your achievement and progress.
