We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic Catering Assistants who are passionate about providing excellent service and nutritious food for our pupils and staff. The successful candidates will:
- support the preparation and serving of a range of delicious meals to staff and pupils during term time;
- help create a positive dining experience for all;
- maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene throughout the kitchen, storage and serving areas (including the deep cleans during school holidays);
- potwash and operate the commercial dishwasher;
- assist with rubbish removal;
- operate the cashless biometric systems;
- assist with functions (including some evenings if required - overtime will be paid);
- assist when necessary serving in the sixth form Edge cafe.
1 position will be working 8am - 2pm Monday to Friday during term time; 1 position will be working 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday during term time. All Catering Staff also work 2 days either side of each main school holiday, to assist with the deep clean.
Previous experience in a catering environment – especially in a school – is essential, alongside strong teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to safeguarding children.
