Pastoral

Pastoral care, supporting success

During your Sixth Form, our focus on pastoral care remains just as strong as in the earlier school years. Your happiness and wellbeing are vital to your academic success, and to developing the confidence and self-esteem that will help you throughout your life.

We’ve made pastoral care an integral part of school life – it goes hand-in-hand with your studies. Every day, you have the support of the Head of Year, the Deputy Head of Sixth Form and your form tutor. They’re here to guide and advise you, and your parents.

Also, the Head of Year liaises closely with the Examinations Secretary to ensure any students with specific learning difficulties get the help they need to gain their qualifications.
