Les Miserables All-Star Performance for Memorial Fund

Senior School | Sixth Form | Laurels Association

10 November 2023

We would like to invite pupils, parents and friends of EHS to join us for a spectacular evening of music on Sunday 10 December.

The concert will feature all the big songs from the hit musical Les Misérables featuring an all-star cast of former pupils returning to EHS in this one-off special fundraising event.  All performers are now professional musicians and will be supported by a professional band of musicians and invited singers from our current cohort of pupils.

We are delighted to welcome such EHS stars as Grace Farrell who has performed in Les Mis in the West End for many years, as well as Suzie Murphy who has starred in Cats and My Fair Lady in Vienna.  We are also joined by Bethany Lucas who was an exceptional Choral Scholar at Keble College Oxford, Zara Ryan who is a graduate of Royal Central School of Speech and Drama as well as Esther Simkiss, graduate of Music from Manchester University.

We are lucky enough to also welcome back our wonderful male performers from previous shows including Tom Carson who has featured on Sky Television’s ‘Ultimate a Cappella’ and numerous Edinburgh Fringe sell out performances as well as James Spence, graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Henry Liggins, singer and songwriter, Sam Gray Choral Scholar at Kings College Cambridge, Jonathon Anderson, Birmingham Cathedral Scholar, Matthew Anderson, tenor deputy Lay Clerk at Bath Abbey, Matthew Panya, Genesis Sixteen member and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Luca Taylor, Christ Church Cathedral Oxford Chorister.

The event begins at 5.00pm and we expect to close by 7.45pm.

This is a music spectacular not to be missed! Tickets will sell out very quickly so book your tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment.  All artists are giving up their time free of charge and all proceeds will be donated to the Pam Jelf Memorial Fund which offers financial support to the pupils and old girls from EHS in their musical journey.
