Entrepreneurs Win Big at Live Show

18 October 2013

On Thursday 17  October, all AS Level Business students attended 'Entrepreneur Live' at Vue Cinema, Star City, hosted by 'Tutor2u'.

Entrepreneur Live provides a unique opportunity for students to meet, listen to, engage with and pitch to some of the UK's best entrepreneurs.

At this event, several successful entrepreneurs, including Jacob Hill, Neil Westwood, Kezia Rudge, Louis Barnett and Kate Castle, gave a presentation about their entrepreneurial journey. Hundreds of schools then took part in a competition arranged by the popular founder of 'The Lazy Camper', Jacob Hill, where the challenge was to come up with an innovative idea.

After submitting their entries, contestants were asked to make a short video and the finalists were brought to the front to pitch their idea and answer questions by the judging panel.

'Rent a Grent', EHS's finalist team, were successful in this round and went on to win the competition. Team members, Laura Henery, Romi Wouhra, Charlotte Barrington, Eleni Vousden, and Hannah O'Connor, were awarded with a prestigious trophy and a substantial cash prize. We would like to congratulate the girls on their success.
