Creepy Crawlies in the Prep School
26 June 2015
Many of the girls in the Prep School have been enjoying looking at nature recently.
Girls in Reception went on a minibeast hunt in the grounds of Westbourne. Their class caterpillars have also turned into beautiful butterflies and they girls enjoyed setting them free.
Year 2 have also been very busy learning lots about minibeasts this half term. Miss Ash went to the beach and collected over 50 stones to paint in Art lessons. The girls chose between painting a bumblebee or a ladybird and after the paint dried, they covered them with PVA glue to make them shiny and so they could stick on wings and googly eyes!
They are now very eager to perform in the Minibeast concert next Friday.
