Before you apply for a place at EHS, we strongly recommend you and your daughter come along to see the school for yourself. It’s a great way to get a real flavour of what it’s like to study here, and you can visit as many times as you wish – at our open days or on a guided tour arranged individually for you. You’ll be able to meet our pupils and staff, watch lessons in progress, and ask as many questions as you like.

Which event should I attend?
Our Open Events provide a range of opportunities for families to visit the school.
- Saturday Open Events - ideal for families to experience the school together. Girls and their siblings can try activities in classrooms and you can speak to students and teachers. You'll learn about our ethos from the Headmistress and be able to experience who we are and what we offer.
- School Day Open Events - the opportunity to see the school in action on a tour of the school with some of our pupils and to hear a talk from the Headmistress and Head of Prep.
- School Day Tours (no Head's talk) - a pupil-led tour of the school. We offer Senior School tours as follows: Tuesday 9.15am/Wednesday 2.10pm/Friday 9.15am - all appointments must be pre-arranged and are subject to availability.
- Prep and Pre-Prep 'School in Action' Mornings. Come and see us on a normal school day to find out what being an EHS pupil is really like.
