We are seeking a safety-conscious, calm and reliable minibus driver to join our team as soon as possible, working 5 hours each day before/after school. At least two years' bus driving experience is necessary, as well as a full clean UK driving licence (with D1 entitlement).
Candidates must be aged 25+ (for insurance purposes).
Duties include the safe and punctual transport of pupils between designated pick up points and the School; daily and weekly inspections of the minibus to ensure roadworthiness and adequate fuel levels; supervision of pupils on the school bus to ensure safety; and communication with parents. Authorised overtime will be available from time to time to support trips and visits.
£12,590 per annum (paid in 12 equal monthly payments) plus a package of benefits
20 hours per week
Monday to Friday during term time, commencing daily from approximately 7.30am and 3.30pm
Authorised overtime may be available for other school trips/events

Interviews will take place at Edgbaston High School for Girls; candidates will also be tested on their knowledge of vehicle safety and will be required to demonstrate their ability to drive one of our minibuses.
At interview applicants must provide original documents to confirm their identity and right to work in the UK. The documentation required by applicants is listed in the Recruitment, Selection and Disclosure Policy.
Original certificates/licences will be required as proof of qualification. All other attributes will be assessed using the contents of the application form, at interview and with the professional references.
