Our U16 Netball Team delivered an outstanding performance at Monday's County Tournament, securing a runners-up finish and booking their place in the Regional Finals.
The incredible squad, comprised of talented Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils, demonstrated skill, determination and teamwork throughout the competition.
After dominant victories over Arthur Terry, Camp Hill and Fortis Academy in the group stages, the team progressed to a dramatic semi-final against KEHS. In a fiercely contested match, EHS held their nerve to secure a thrilling two-goal victory in extra time, earning their place in the final and guaranteeing qualification for the Regional Finals.
Joining Sutton Girls, the team will now go on to compete against some of the strongest schools in the region. Their qualification also marks a remarkable milestone for EHS, with the school represented at the Regional Finals for the fourth consecutive year.
This achievement is a testament not only to the talent within the squad, but also to their commitment, resilience and hard work throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of everything the team has accomplished and look forward to cheering them on at the Regional Finals.
Congratulations, girls, and good luck in the next stage of the competition. Go Team EHS! 💙
