As part of our Parent Engagement Programme, designed to open the classroom door and showcase how our pupils learn, we welcomed Year Three and Four parents to join their daughters for a fun and interactive maths session.

As part of our Parent Engagement Programme, designed to open the classroom door and showcase how our pupils learn, we welcomed Year Three and Four parents to join their daughters for a fun and interactive maths session.
Parents joined in with lively mental starters, explored some of the methods and strategies we use in the classroom and tackled reasoning and problem-solving challenges together. The workshops showcased how we aim to make Maths engaging, purposeful and appropriately challenging - encouraging our girls to think deeply, explain their reasoning and persevere when faced with a problem. It was also a valuable opportunity for parents to see our approaches first-hand and take away practical ideas for supporting Maths confidently at home.
There was a fantastic buzz in the classrooms and we were delighted to see parents and pupils learning, thinking and being challenged together!
