Something of a cherished tradition, the Macmillan Coffee Morning is a fundraising event held to support people living with cancer. Through coffee, cakes and conversation, communities come together to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

Something of a cherished tradition, the Macmillan Coffee Morning is a fundraising event held to support people living with cancer. Through coffee, cakes and conversation, communities come together to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
On Friday 25 September, EHS supported the Macmillan Coffee Morning, a much-valued annual event that brings our community together in support of people affected by cancer. EHS ran a breakfast-style event for pupils and staff, with pupils able to purchase seasonal treats during form time and enjoy them with friends.
Thanks to the generosity of our school community, a fantastic total of £1,291.52 was raised. The funds will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue its vital work, providing information, guidance and practical support to people living with cancer and their families when they need it most.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, baked, volunteered and attended. Your support helped make the morning such a success and will make a real difference to those facing cancer.
