Lights, Camera, Celebration! Year 10 Enjoys Well-Deserved Reward

Year 10 enjoyed a well-deserved end-of-term trip to the cinema to celebrate the end of a successful year. A total of 71 students, accompanied by six members of staff, made the 15-minute walk in glorious sunshine, with spirits high ahead of an afternoon of entertainment.

Year 10 enjoyed a well-deserved end-of-term trip to the cinema to celebrate the end of a successful year. A total of 71 students, accompanied by six members of staff, made the 15-minute walk in glorious sunshine, with spirits high ahead of an afternoon of entertainment.
The group had the entire screen to themselves as they settled in to watch Toy Story 5. The film proved to be a hit, with plenty of laughter, a few gasps of surprise and even the occasional tear during some of its more emotional moments. It was wonderful to see everyone relaxing, spending time together and enjoying the opportunity to celebrate everything they have achieved over the past year.
The trip provided the perfect opportunity for students to mark the completion of their first year of GCSE studies. Throughout the year, they have shown resilience, commitment and determination in adapting to the demands of their GCSE courses, and this was a fitting way to recognise their hard work and dedication.
As they look ahead to the challenges and opportunities that Year 11 will bring, we hope they return after the summer break refreshed, motivated and ready to embrace this important final year. We wish all of our Year 10 students a safe, enjoyable and well-deserved summer holiday and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in September.
