Year 7 took part in a fantastic Play in a Day Workshop as part of the Page to Stage Festival. Working in groups, the girls devised and performed their own modern retellings of popular fairy tales, showcasing their creativity, imagination, and dramatic skills.

Throughout the day, they drew upon a wide range of drama techniques that they have developed over the course of the year, including physical theatre, choral work, narration, characterisation, and ensemble performance.

The afternoon provided a wonderful opportunity for the year group to come together and share their work, performing their devised pieces to one another and celebrating each other's achievements. As an added treat, the girls enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream before Mrs Macro judged the performances and presented prizes to the winning groups.

A special thank you goes to Miss O'Hare and Mrs Smith for all their hard work in preparing for the day and helping to run the workshops. I would also like to thank our fantastic Year 12 students, whose support and encouragement helped make the day such a success.

Most importantly, congratulations to all of Year 7. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, creativity, and commitment throughout the day were outstanding, and the performances you created were truly wonderful. Well done to everyone involved!
