Year 9 students enjoyed a productive and engaging day developing the essential skills needed for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition.

Year 9 students enjoyed a productive and engaging day developing the essential skills needed for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition.
Throughout the day, they practised map reading and navigation, learned basic first aid, pitched tents, and discovered the most efficient ways to pack their expedition equipment.
The students showed great enthusiasm and teamwork, fully involving themselves in every activity and building confidence for the challenges ahead. The training day helped prepare them well for their practice walk last Saturday and their Bronze DofE expedition, which took place yesterday and today.
Well done to all the students for their positive attitude, commitment, and willingness to embrace the adventure.
