This May, Louise competed in the Ladies County Golf Championships and won the qualifying, which was contested over 36 holes!
We were extremely delighted to hear of the sporting success of Louise, a Sixth Form student who is excelling in the world of professional golf.
Louise recounts, "On Friday, I won the qualifying which was contested over 36 holes. This included the overall prize and the U24 prize. The following days were knockout match, where I advanced to the final. It was extremely close, but I unfortunately lost on the last hole. In August, I am going to university in America. I am very excited for this opportunity because it allows me to combine academics with athletic development. I am going to study history with the plan of going into the legal sector after my time in America is finished."
Congratulations, Louise, on your outstanding golfing success and on securing the exciting opportunity to continue your academic journey in America. Such a remarkable achievement and an exciting next chapter.
