An Evening of Creativity: Year 10 and 12 Drama Showcase

Over recent weeks, the students have been developing and refining their Component 1 work for both GCSE and A-Level Drama, exploring a range of ideas inspired by their chosen stimuli and practitioner influences. The showcase provided a valuable opportunity for them to bring this work to life on stage and experience performing in front of an audience.

There were a number of impressive performances throughout the evening, demonstrating strong commitment, imaginative use of performance techniques, and thoughtful interpretation of their material. Students showed clear understanding of drama practitioners and applied their knowledge effectively within their pieces, resulting in engaging and well-crafted performances.

The evening highlighted not only the talent within the department, but also the dedication and resilience the students have shown throughout the rehearsal process.

All students involved should feel extremely proud of their achievements and the progress they have made.
