Under the glorious sunshine, Edgbaston High School hosted an action packed fun fair to celebrate 150 years of outstanding education for girls.

Families and friends of EHS enjoyed bumping on the dodgems ( sponsored by the EHSPA), being brave on the climbing wall and delighting in friendly competition on the human sized Hungry Hippos. Among the larger attractions were fete stalls, face painting, circus fun, and much more, with beaming smiles all around.

The sense of community at the event was clear to see, with girls from Nursery to Sixth Form in attendance, and teachers and parents enjoying the festivities with their daughters. Being one of the biggest events we have ever hosted on the grounds of the school, it's safe to say it was a roaring success.

Coming together to celebrate 150 years of Edgbaston High School in such numbers was a strong reminder of the united community we have here at EHS, and there was a clear sense of pride and gratitude among all in being part of this once in a lifetime event.

Thank you to all those who were involved in the organisation of the event, in particular Mrs Batchelor!
