From neon trainers paired with fluffy slippers to embellished crocs teamed with wellington boots, there were some incredibly unique and imaginative combinations on display. There was a real buzz of excitement throughout the day, with laughter, conversations, and a shared sense of purpose bringing everyone together. It wasn’t just about the shoes, it was about raising awareness and showing support.
Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, an impressive £600 was raised, with some particularly generous donations coming from Year 10 themselves. Their commitment and effort in supporting Annabelle who organised the event, did not go unnoticed and made a real difference. A special mention goes to Kairavi, whose artistic flair brought an extra spark of creativity with her brilliant poster.
The Stroke Association is a cause that is very dear to us, and this event was a wonderful way to support it while having a lot of fun along the way. A huge well done to everyone for their creativity, leadership and community spirit, what a fantastic achievement!
The winner is Alexis S in Year 11. Well done, Alexis!
