Discovering the World of Audiology

During the session, pupils were introduced to the important role audiologists play in supporting people with hearing and balance needs. Daya shared insights into this rewarding career path, helping to raise awareness of how this area of healthcare makes a real difference to individuals from all walks of life.

Daya is currently studying at Swansea University and is undertaking placements within the NHS, where she is gaining valuable, hands-on experience working with a wide range of patients. She spoke enthusiastically about her journey so far, giving pupils a meaningful glimpse into both university life and professional training in healthcare.

The assembly was a fantastic opportunity to inspire our pupils and broaden their understanding of potential future careers. We are grateful to Daya for sharing her knowledge and experiences so openly.
