During March, our school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated Science Week! With a wide range of activities taking place across all year groups, there was something to spark everyone’s curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
A particular highlight was the Science Week Quiz, where our Year 8 students competed in teams of four, proudly representing their school houses. The quiz challenged students with questions covering a fantastic variety of topics—from animals and chemicals to the mysteries of space, alongside rounds focused on logic, problem-solving, and estimation skills. The competition was fierce, but the energy, determination, and teamwork on display made it a truly memorable event.
A huge congratulations goes to St. David Team 3: Eliana D, Margaret C, Mariam K and Mia M, who achieved the highest score in the quiz. Their outstanding performance, combined with the efforts of the other four teams from their house, secured an overall victory for St. David.
Well done to everyone who took part in making Science Week such a fun, engaging, and inspiring success. It was wonderful to see so many pupils embracing the spirit of discovery and enjoying science in action!
