We’re delighted to share the outstanding achievements of two of our students Hafsah M and Noor, who have recently been recognised at national level events for their talent, hard work, and dedication.
Hafsah M has been shortlisted for the prestigious John Locke Institute Economics Essay Competition, which received over 63,000 entries this year. Her thought-provoking essay, which explored the impact of applying VAT to private school fees, impressed judges with its strong analysis and clear reasoning.
Hafsah has been invited to attend the awards ceremony in Mayfair this October, a fantastic opportunity and a reflection of her academic ability and commitment to learning. The competition challenges young people to think independently and write critically about complex global issues.
Noor recently won a Bronze Medal at the Great Britain Open Karate Championships, held on 14 September 2025 at the University of Birmingham. Known as the UK’s largest one-day karate event, the competition brought together athletes from across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Noor was excited not only to win a medal but also to meet and compete with sportspeople from all over the UK. Having trained in karate since the age of five, this achievement marks another big step in her journey. She is now working towards her final Black Belt, a goal we know she’ll reach with continued focus and determination.
We’re incredibly proud of both Hafsah and Noor and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.
