On Monday 8 December, our Year 8 Buddies welcomed their Year 7 partners to a festive “Biscuit and Buddy” gathering.
The event provided a warm and relaxed setting for students to spend quality time together, reflect on the achievements of the autumn term, and share their excitement for the Christmas holidays. It was wonderful to see the hall filled with conversation, laughter, and an uplifting sense of community as the girls enjoyed their treats and the chance to strengthen their buddy partnerships.
Later that afternoon, Year 8 students celebrated in style at their end-of-term Disco. Dressed in plenty of sparkle and seasonal shimmer, the pupils danced the evening away and took part in a range of lively games, including musical statues, Pass the Jellycat, and dance competitions. The energy and enthusiasm on display made the event a memorable highlight and a perfect way to round off a busy term.
While Year 8 were enjoying their disco, we were also delighted to welcome Year 7 parents into school for a special “Meet and Mix” event. This informal gathering offered parents the chance to get to know one another and to meet key members of the Pastoral Team. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and we were pleased to see so many families taking the opportunity to build connections within the school community.
