Year 7 had a brilliant start to the festive season with a trip to the Birmingham Rep Theatre to watch Sherlock Holmes: The Twelve Days of Christmas.

Year 7 had a brilliant start to the festive season with a trip to the Birmingham Rep Theatre to watch Sherlock Holmes: The Twelve Days of Christmas.
Excitement buzzed through the year group as students and staff set off on foot, wrapping up warm for the wintery walk into the city.
The performance was a clever, Christmassy twist on the classic detective stories, and Year 7 were captivated from the opening scene. The mix of mystery, humour, and seasonal sparkle had everyone hooked, with plenty of laughter (and a few gasps!) echoing through the theatre.
During the interval, students enjoyed a well-earned treat: delicious ice creams that made the experience feel even more special. Afterwards, the journey back to school was filled with chatter about favourite characters, funniest moments, and impressive staging.
It was a fantastic morning that brought literature to life, celebrated the festive spirit, and left Year 7 with wonderful memories to end the term.
