Our Year 8 students have completed an exciting community project that combined volunteering, leadership, and social impact.

Throughout the term, the girls took part in workshops to learn about local community leaders and explore how young people can make a positive difference.

As part of the project, students took part in hands-on volunteering in school, developing practical skills, discussing local issues, and planning ways to take action. Their hard work led to a large-scale food drive organised entirely by the year group. Thanks to generous donations from families, staff, and students, a fantastic collection was delivered to local food banks.

Staff were full of praise for the enthusiasm, teamwork, and compassion shown. The girls demonstrated strong leadership, commitment, and a genuine desire to support others, making a real impact on the community.

This project not only strengthened links with the local area but also inspired students to continue their journey as active, responsible citizens.
