We are delighted to share the exciting news that Year 9 student Fernella has earned a place on the long list for the Girls’ Schools Association (GSA) Photography Competition.

This prestigious national competition invites young photographers to explore a creative brief, and this year’s theme, “A Bright and Brave Future”, inspired an array of imaginative responses from students across the country.

Fernella’s powerful entry, titled “A Bright and Brave Future Is Mine to Embrace,” highlights both her technical skill and artistic insight. With thoughtful composition and skillful studio lighting, her photograph captures a sense of optimism, courage, and determination, beautifully echoing the spirit of the competition’s theme.

Her success reflects not only her dedication and creativity, but also the strength of our school’s vibrant arts community. We are tremendously proud of Fernella and excited to see how her passion for photography continues to grow.
