Prep Pupil Supports Children in Need With Homemade Cake Sale

Among the many pupils keen to get involved was Rue, who decided she would contribute something extra to the school’s efforts.

With plenty of enthusiasm (and a little help), Rue spent last week baking and decorating more than 100 homemade cakes, which she then sold to raise money for the charity. After carefully counting the total – a great opportunity to practise counting in tens – she raised an impressive £150 to add to the school’s overall Children in Need total.

Rue also received a certificate from Pudsey Bear in recognition of her fundraising. Well done to Rue and to all pupils who took part in supporting this year’s Children in Need.
