In a matter of weeks, our incredible Sixth Form event planning team organised the first social of the year, and what a night it was.
They chose a Neon Party theme, and the Octagon was completely transformed with bright lights, glowing decorations, and a buzzing atmosphere. The room looked incredible, thanks to the team’s hard work and creativity.
But Sixth Form socials are about more than just fun, they’re a chance for new friendships to form, year groups to mix, and the whole cohort to come together as one community. This event delivered all of that and more, offering something for everyone, from a mocktail bar to pizza for all, with thoughtful options for those with dietary needs.
But it was also a celebration with purpose. The team set up a popcorn and candy floss stall, raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Everyone enjoyed the treats while helping to support a fantastic cause.
The event planners made sure excitement spread far and wide, promoting the party to both students and parents. Thanks to their enthusiasm and effort, the Neon Party was not only a brilliant social but a meaningful milestone, a vibrant start to the year and a reminder of the power of coming together.
