It is National Coding Week and there has been plenty of excitement in the air as our girls have got stuck into their latest projects.

It is National Coding Week and there has been plenty of excitement in the air as our girls have got stuck into their latest projects.
Our Year Six girls have been busy coding their own working pedometers on Micro:bits as part of the IGNITE program. They have been learning how to track steps and movement, combining creativity with problem-solving as they bring their designs to life.
Over in the Primary Coding League, our team has been working on a 'Music Man'-themed game using Scratch. This is our second year in the international competition, after a successful first season last year. Across the year, the girls will take on six different coding challenges, going head-to-head with schools from around the world.
It’s been a brilliant way to celebrate National Coding Week — and to see our students showing so much enthusiasm, teamwork and imagination through coding.
