We are looking to appoint a Cleaner to join our busy Housekeeping Team. At least one year's previous experience would be beneficial, as well as experience of using cleaning machinery such as buffers (full training will be provided).
Duties
- Vacuuming carpet and wooden floor areas.
- Dusting edges ledges and furniture.
- Damp wiping of window sills edges and ledges.
- Window cleaning.
- Polishing of furniture pictures etc.
- Buffing and burnishing.
- Rubbish removal.
- Stocking up of toilet rolls and paper hand towels.
- Any other jobs that might commensurate with the post.
£10 - £12.71ph with package of benefits and generous holiday allowance
2.5 hours per day after school (starting at either 3pm or 3.30pm depending on which are of the school they are in)
Also required to work the same daily hours for cleaning and deep cleans during school holidays, although start/finish times are more flexible.

Interviews will take place at Edgbaston High School for Girls during the week commencing 23rd February. Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview. There will be a practical lab-based task and also be an opportunity to tour the School on the day.

Original certificates/licences will be required as proof of qualification. All other attributes will be assessed using the contents of the application form, at interview and with the professional references.
