'Et tu, Brute?' - Classicists visit RSC

16 June 2017

On Tuesday 13th June, the Classics department took 14 girls to see a performance of Julius Caesar in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

A tale of deceit, conspiracy and power, this production was not to be missed. We set off after school and enjoyed an evening of exciting theatre. We loved the Shakespearean actors, the impressive staging and the engaging plot; some of the group loved it so much that they’re going to see it again! Seeing the rise and fall of Julius Caesar come to life really put the story in context for us and it was amazing seeing the classical world before us.

It was a fantastic way to spend a Tuesday evening and we encourage everyone to go and see it!
