Shining Stars at the EHS Shakespeare Festival

Senior School

11 July 2025

On Monday and Tuesday, girls from Years 7 to 11 took part in the very first EHS Shakespeare Festival. The evening was a vibrant celebration of drama and music, showcasing our fantastically talented students. Performances included scenes from well-loved plays such as The Tempest and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as more challenging excerpts from Hamlet and As You Like It

Throughout the rehearsal process and performances, the girls demonstrated remarkable teamwork and dedication. Drama is not only a creative outlet for performers and designers, but also a powerful way to build collaborative skills and confidence. It was clear from the energy on stage and behind the scenes that the girls gained so much from the experience, working together, supporting one another, and truly shining as a team.

The event was a tremendous success, and the Drama and Music Departments would like to thank everyone who was involved. We’re already looking forward to next year’s performances!
