Inspection Reports for Edgbaston High School

ISI is a Government-approved body responsible for the inspection of schools in membership of the Associations that make up the Independent Schools Council. These schools are ranked among the best in the world and educate more than half a million children in 1,200 institutions. ISI inspects every aspect of the provision in ISC schools.

ISI Report - School Inspection Report 2026

We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent inspection. Among the many highlights, the report notes:

  • “Pupils are respectful of individual differences and kind to each other” and “are resilient, embrace challenge and approach their education with confidence.”
  • “Staff demonstrate considerable subject knowledge, which they use to plan and deliver stimulating lessons.”
  • “The school promotes pupils’ wellbeing, including their physical and mental health, carefully and effectively.”
  • “Leaders and staff work together closely to promote and maintain a robust safeguarding culture.”

These comments capture the heart of Edgbaston High School and the shared commitment of pupils, staff and families. We invite you to read the full report to explore the findings in more detail.
