Year 7 & 8 Take Centre Stage in Shakespeare Workshop
04 July 2025
Students in Year’s 7 and 8 recently took part in a vibrant and creative Shakespeare workshop, spending the day exploring the world of the Bard through performance and teamwork.
Working in groups, pupils were challenged to create their own unique version of a Shakespeare play. Each group brought a fresh twist to classic tales, using their imagination, drama skills, and a lot of enthusiasm.
In the afternoon, the groups performed their interpretations to one another, showcasing an impressive mix of acting, humour, and storytelling. The audience was treated to a variety of performances, each one reflecting the students' creativity and understanding of Shakespeare’s work.
To celebrate the day, a selection of awards was handed out for performances, creativity, and collaboration. The workshop ended on a sweet note with everyone enjoying a well-earned ice cream in the sunshine.
It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, learning, and a real sense of achievement! Well done, Year 7 and 8!
