This week has offered so many opportunities to see our EHS values in action.
Our youngest pupils set off on their theatre trip with great excitement, showing courage as they embraced a new experience beyond the school gates. Live theatre is such a powerful educational tool: it sparks creativity, builds empathy and inspires aspiration as children see stories, ideas and possibilities brought to life.
In school, Mrs Sawyers has introduced 'Active Advent' to all of our pupils and these activities have added a wonderful sense of energy to each day. Pupils have tackled each challenge with perseverance, supporting one another and demonstrating the responsibility that comes with looking after their own wellbeing...whilst having a lot of fun along the way! These joyful daily movements have reminded us of the importance of movement, teamwork and developing healthy habits that will stay with them long beyond the festive season. With girls still dropping out of sport when they reach puberty, we have such an important job to support our girls in realising the benefits of sport, ones which can be life long.
As I write, the whole school is eagerly preparing for our Seasonal Celebration. The process has been a true example of inclusivity - every child involved, every contribution valued - and of the excellence they continually strive for. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and ambition shine through in everything they have been creating.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming so many of our families to join us for this year's Seasonal Celebration. Coming together as a community is one of the highlights of the season and we cannot wait to share this special celebration with the EHS Prep Family.
Wishing you a peaceful weekend.
