At EHS, we recognise the importance of peer support in helping students feel confident and connected and our new mentoring programme is a wonderful example of this in action.
This week, our Year 10 and Year 12 girls came together for a special breakfast meet-up to get to know one another and launch the initiative.

With GCSEs on the horizon and a step-up in academic expectations, Year 10 pupils are entering a crucial stage of their school journey. Our Year 12 students, having recently navigated the very same challenges, are perfectly placed to offer guidance. As mentors, they’ll be sharing practical advice, study tips, and encouragement throughout the year.
Each Year 10 pupil will have a dedicated Sixth Form mentor to turn to for support, whether that’s help with organisation, reassurance during busy periods, or simply a friendly chat.

We’re excited to see the connections grow and the support networks flourish as our Year 10 and Year 12 girls work together, helping one another to thrive both academically and personally at EHS.
