Edgbaston High School now has another lifesaving defibrillator on site thanks to a group of enterprising Year 9 students. 

The idea to raise money for one came from the girls themselves. Taking on all the event organisation and promotion, they held a bazaar including sweet sale, a cakes sale, a jewellery sale and offered Mehndi and temporary tattoos for sale to raise the money. Year 7 girls also gave some money from their record-breaking Readathon fundraising to ensure we could purchase the latest model and a case. The defibrillator is now in place in the Octagon Link. 

This latest addition takes the total in school to three which are at various points across the 14 acre site.
