Cartographers in the Making

Reception girls have been exploring this week and have been introduced to the world of map reading.
They used a school map to visit the Senior School to find out where the older girls study. Mrs Crawford came out of her office and showed us her map of the building too.
The Sixth Form Centre was very interesting, and girls stood on the balcony to see the Westbourne building from a different angle. There were squeals of delight once they had spotted their own classrooms and their playground!
Following their adventure the girls went back to Westbourne and completed a map of their classroom.
