Girls in Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception have really enjoyed their festive week in Westbourne.  Each themed day has been special with Mistletoe Monday, Tinsel Tuesday, Woolly Wednesday, Throw a Party Thursday and Festive Film Friday.  Mistletoe Monday was extra special as the girls were served a Christmas lunch.

The lovely warm and festive jumpers that the girls donned on Woolly Wednesday were the perfect outfits for a visit to Santa in his Grotto, where everyone received a gift, and for their Christmas Fair.

A range of activities was set up in the Outdoor Classroom and all of the year groups spent time taking part in them and extending their skills.  Everyone had the opportunity to decorate baubles, make reindeer food, guess the name of the elf, throw snowballs at seasonal targets and pin the nose on the reindeer.

Inside the classroom, there has also been the chance to make cards, engage in a variety of Christmas crafts and to read seasonal stories.

After such a productive week the girls are looking forward to the holidays although we know they will be keen to return in January for the Spring Term.

Westbourne girls wish everyone a very happy holiday.
