International competition for Tumbling star

We were delighted to hear of the progress of one of our brightest sportswomen. Year 11 pupil Amy competed in the 15-16 age category at the Trampoline World Age Group Championships in Russia on Friday 16 November.
There was fierce competition, with 40 competitors in her age group from a total of 15 different countries. Amy completed and landed both runs with skill and precision to take 10th place, with Russia, France and Portugal taking Bronze, Silver and Gold.
This has been a fantastic experience for Amy and it rounds off a successful season that has included a Gold medal at the Spring Qualifiers in Telford, a Bronze medal at the
Scalabis Cup in Portugal and a Gold medal at the English Championships in Sheffield. Congratulations, Amy!
