This Week in Westbourne

It has been a week of fun and festivities in Westbourne this week starting with Monday, the day of Westbourne Christmas fair. Girls from Nursery to Year 1 enjoyed a visit to Father Christmas who had made himself comfortable in the outdoor classroom playhouse for the morning!

The children went on to enjoy a day of games and activities including, hook a bag, pin the nose on the reindeer, guess the name of the Elf, among many more! The event finished with parents joining us for hot chocolate and mince pies in the outdoor classroom while the raffle was drawn. Thank you to staff, parents and girls for a very successful fair which raised money for Birmingham Children's hospital along with some funds for us to use to enhance our outdoor classroom further.

Tuesday was a day of celebration and party! Major Mustard made a visit and caught the attention and imagination of many of our girls through the story of 'No 10 Dandelion Street'.

Time in the classrooms this week has been spent exploring seasonal art and craft activities with the added interest of the tuff trays!

We finished school on Wednesday exhausted and ready for the holiday.
