Success at Warwick 50s Swimming Gala

The EHS Swim Squad’s winning streak continued with another stand out performance earlier this week. Mrs Hayward and Mrs Batchelor accompanied four EHS swimmers to attend the Warwick School 50s swimming event at Warwick School. This prestigious event is a highlight in the swimming calendar and attracts schools such as Bedford, Berkhampstead, Repton and Denstone College.
The gala got off to a great start. EHS gained the quickest medley relay time in not only the U14 age group but the U16 and U18 age groups too. Olivia then came 2nd in the 50 freestyle and Isla, Willow and Tiffany all won their individual events.
The event drew to a close with EHS scoring the fastest freestyle relay time in the U14, U16 and U18 age groups and the team returned to EHS with individual medals and the U14 team trophy.
Fantastic news! Well done to the swimmers Willow, Isla, Tiffiany and Olivia. We are proud of them and look forward to hearing of more success over the coming months.
