For the last few weeks the girls in Years 1 and 2 have been busy preparing for the performance of ‘Lights, Camel, Action 2. The Sequin’.   The nativity musical has become an annual tradition although this is the first time that Year 1 girls have taken part.  The show was a triumph and testament to the hard work of the girls and staff.

The performance was based on the format of a game show, similar to Strictly Come Dancing.  The Christmas story was told through the dance and songs performed by all of the girls with Year 2 taking on the drama and narration.

The girls were not phased by the large setting of the Octagon and performed with skill and enthusiasm throughout.  The three judges gave their scores for each dance although were not always very generous and the audience would have given the girls a perfect 10 score every time.

Our thanks to the class teachers for organising the spectacular costumes and learning of lines, to the Music teachers who had worked on the songs and of course to the girls.
