Searching For Autumn

Year 2 took advantage of the sunshine to investigate the school grounds looking for signs of autumn.
Their Science Topic this term is 'Our Senses'. They used their sense of sight and found many signs such as: blackberries, acorns and leaves changing colour from green to brown, red, orange, golden yellow and russet.
They used their sense of smell and touch to hear dried leaves crunching under their feet. Even though they were out in the autumn sunshine they also felt the chill of an autumn wind.
