Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer Show

The Young Artists’ Summer Show is a free, open submission exhibition for young people aged 5 - 19 years, taking place both online and on-site at the Royal Academy of Arts to recognise talented young artists.
We were delighted to learn that Sophie Jesson-Ward in Year 11 has had her artwork selected by the judges to appear in the online exhibition. Sophie created a video using Adobe Photoshop. The image below shows a still from that video.
A spokesperson for the Royal Academy of Arts commented: ‘We received over 17,000 submissions in total and have been blown away by all of the entries this year. In these particularly challenging times, it is wonderful to see so many young people being creative and the positive impact that art can have.’
