Puppets on parade

On Tuesday 11 June, Major Mustard the puppeteer visited the Year 1 girls. They were joined by Year 2 for the puppet show which they all enjoyed.
Major Mustard then demonstrated to the girls how to make their own puppet out of junk materials which they thoroughly enjoyed. We had wondered what Year 1 was going to do with all of the cardboard tubes they had been collecting!
In the afternoon, the girls worked in groups to make a short puppet show which they performed on stage to the rest of the year group. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their day. We give a huge thank you to all the Mums and Dads involved whose help was much appreciated.
