Prep Party Brings Term to a Close

Thursday was a very exciting Day in the Prep School full of fun for girls from Nursery to Year 6.

Prep girls from Years 1 – 6 began their day with a tour of the classrooms to view the door decorations of their schoolmates. They were able to vote for their favourites on each floor of the Prep School and after much discussion the resounding winners were classes 1B, 4O and 6H.

Meanwhile the day started for Westbourne girls with some special visitors. They were welcomed to the Outdoor classroom to find that Father Christmas and two of his reindeer had arrived for a visit. They all had a chat with Father Christmas to assure him they had been good girls and each received a gift. We were delighted that Year 1 girls in Prep came to say hello too.

The girls also had a chance to see Howard and Doris the reindeer, which they all enjoyed. They heard many facts about reindeer and were amazed that Howard’s antlers had grown so big in just seven months. The reindeer received many visitors during the morning as news spread of their visit and all girls from Prep were keen to be involved.

The afternoon was full of fun and games across the Prep School and laughter could be heard in every corner. Girls played traditional games like pass the parcel and musical chairs, they sang and danced and finished the term with a great day!
