Autumn Term Excellence Book

We are constantly amazed by the high quality of work produced by pupils of all ages here at EHS. In recognition of that talent and hard work, each term teachers are asked to nominate outstanding or excellent work to the Excellence Book. This term, we have once again seen work of an extraordinarily high calibre produced by girls in every year and across a range of subjects. Congratulations to the following students:

ART

Asmitha Rajaguru (Y9)

Wonderful digital landscape posters that show real maturity and professional attention to detail. Asmitha also produced a thoughtful Art History task presented with care and creativity. Stunning!

CLASSICS

Nikita Dalvair, Asmitha Rajaguru, Zoe Teredesai (Y8)

For producing an outstanding advert for Roman Insula. Their projects were informative, engaging and voted for by their peers as the best in 8R.

D&T

Jessica Brodie (Y10)

Absolutely amazing work put into Summer work. Each piece of work was completed to the highest standard. An overall amazing piece of work you should be proud of yourself.

Ruby Hannah (Y10)

Absolutely amazing work put into Summer work. Each piece of work is completed to the highest standard. An overall amazing piece of work! You should be proud of yourself.

Renée Henry (Y12)

Exceptional effort in the Summer work tasks. The research is spot on and the design work is truly fabulous! You should be very proud of it.

Safa Iqbal (Y10)

Absolutely amazing work put into the Summer work. Each piece of work is completed to the highest standard. An overall amazing piece of work you should be proud of.

ENGLISH

Anaya Murphy (Y8) from Summer Term

For outstanding effort in her independent Poetry Project. Anaya not only analysed poetry of her choosing, she also wrote her own heartfelt poem.

Lily Sabsevari (Y9) from Summer Term

For excellent effort and achievement in the Independent Poetry Project. Lily produced some excellent analysis of poetry in the form of song and also wrote a powerful piece of poetry, herself.

Hazel Lam (Y9)

For a wonderful diary entry about being a merchant on the seas and a play script reimagining the opening of The Merchant of Venice. Hazel wrote so clearly and expressed the sentiment of the character with humour and understanding.

Sarah Salim (Y8)

For an excellent poem which uses a wide range of poetic devices to great effect.

Rayya Aziz, Noor-Anissa Farooq, Kavi Gharib, Humaira Mirza, Palakh Sharma (Y7)

For an excellent letter on Lady Macbeth. Well done!

GEOGRAPHY

Alyzah Hussain (Y9)

Alyzah has produced a spectacular fact file on the Maldives which draws on information covered throughout KS3. Her work is excellent!

Alice Huo (Y10)

Alice produced a fantastic fact file on Japan at the end of Year 9, including detailed information regarding all of the topics covered across KS3 Geography. Well done Alice!

Amrita Dhillon (Y10)

Creating a fantastic fact file on the Philippines at the end of Year 9. Amrita’s fact file included on incredible amount of information and detail around the topic covered across KS3, as well as graphs, images and a pleasing overall presentation.

Ruby Hannah (Y10)

For creating a fantastic fact file on Taiwan at the end of Year 9. Ruby’s fact file included an incredible amount of information and detail around the topics covered across KS3, as well as graphs, images and pleasing overall presentation.

Rasunpreet Kang (Y10)

For creating a fantastic fact file on Indonesia at the end of Year 9. Rasunpreet’s fact file included an incredible amount of information and detail around the topics covered at KS3, as well as graphs, images and a pleasing overall presentation.

Manahil Saeed (Y10)

For creating a fantastic fact file on the Maldives at the end of Year 9. Manahil’s fact file included and incredible amount of detail around the topics covered across KS3, as well as graphs, images and a pleasing overall presentation.

HISTORY

Anya De (Y9) from Summer Term

For the delivery of an incredible presentation on apartheid. She made links to her own family history and covered complex content with maturity. Well done Anya!
